SJM Middle School Holds Papal Conclave

Submitted to School by Rosie Adams on Tuesday, March 05, 2013

St. Justin Martyr Middle School students held their own Papal Conclave, complete with colored smoke.  KSDK News Channel 5 was there to cover the events of the Pope selection process.  Students researched candidates and the conclave process, gathered to promote their picks and voted after making an oath.  After counting ballots, they moved outside to see if a Pope was selected.  Not yet... the smoke was black.

After watching the story, KSDK anchors said of St. Justin, "That is a great story.  Smoke and everything-- I am impressed!"  View the coverage on ksdk.com or follow the link:  http://www.ksdk.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=367041.
